Looking at the altimetry chart, the zero line out at the shelf would perhaps be a good place to go looking for a mako at the moment.  The chart beneath it is the sea temps from a few days ago, with the warmer water around 15 degrees inside the shelf.  Again, the break along the edge of the shelf would be worth exploring.  It may also point to a good chance of more makos in close, as there have been in recent weeks.
