You may have seen this 2500 Ultracab here and there on the internet; it was our demo boat before being sent across the Nullabor to it's new home in WA. It's also one our favourite boats we've built; and even joined Ed on a fishing trip up the east coast to Fraser Island where it was photographed and featured in The Captain magazine. Being a demo boat it was fully optioned from factory; on top of all the standard 2500 features this includes Lenco trim tabs, rear boarding ladder, painted roof rails, U-Dek, folding rear doors, electric toilet and privacy curtain, walk through transom, wash down kit, full paint, foam injected hull and painted bow rails. Max HP was fitted with twin Suzuki DF400s; with top of the line Optimus electronic joystick steering, a real game changer. An Easytow custom aluminium trailer with tandem axles, electric brakes, 15" alloys, full PE skids, Boat Catch and Boat Buckles made for stress free towing on such long distance trips.
Garmin was well represented with a GPSMap 8416 and 8410, twin 1kw thru hull transducers, East Coast Aus mapping, GMR18xHD radar, plus a Fusion stereo and GME radio. Long days on the water were made easier thanks to a Travel Buddy oven. It's a seriously cool boat, and the Captain clip is well worth a watch.
