One of the wildest boats we have ever built! This 2750 Ultra Centrecab was filled to brim with all the goodies you could imagine before being towed off to it's new home in South Australia. These are a very well equipped hull even before extras are added, but additional options on the hull included rear doors, toilet, rear boarding ladder, EVA flooring, stage 3 full paint (gunmetal grey) and trim tabs. To start with we added 500hp of Suzuki (twin 250s) and an Easytow tandem trailer with 15" alloys, a BoatCatch and custom stoneguards. The true game changer on this build was an Optimus 360 electronic steering kit with a joystick; making maneuverability a breeze, with sideways movement at the ramp a piece of cake. The electronic steering is incredibly responsive and the joystick brings a whole world of new options to boating; it's hard to justify buying a boat like this without it!
The 12V system was one of the most comprehensive we've done as well. A Revolution Power system was at the heart; incorporating a solar panel, twin 100ah 12v Revolution lithium batteries, RedArc DCDC charger, Victron Smart Shunt, charger and interface with touch screen display. There was a lot of gear to power! This included a Garmin GPSMap 8416 with twin 1kw transducers, a second GPSMap 8410, Garmin radar, GME VHF radio, travel buddy marine oven, Hella lighting, twin Stedi spotlights, and 2x push button hand washes on the gunnel. Added to the trailer was a Sherpa 12V trailer winch, which is perfect when coupled with a Boat Catch. A 300l Icey Tek esky added to the fish (or beer) storage options already standard on a 2750. And finally, since it was heading to SA, it needed a pot puller for heavy cray pots; so we added our favourite RL Welding pot pullers however this one had a custom sliding rubber sheet which mounted to the gunwales on a pressing, to protect the boat during use.
